Supplemental Educational Services (SES)
Supplemental Educational Services (SES) are academic tutoring opportunities outside of regular school day instruction. Parents can choose the tutoring provider, subjects, and location of services from the enrollment options. These services, offered at no cost to the parent, are of high quality and are specifically designed to increase student academic achievement.
Any Title I campus in Stages 2-5 of mandated School Improvement must offer Supplemental Educational Services (SES) to all students from low-income families. In the 2012-2013 school year, Mexia Junior High is the only campus in Mexia ISD that is required to provide Supplemental Educational Services.
